Tanning Lotion Supre
Which tanning lotion lot is the better buy??

Please do not respond unless you are familiar with these products as it's a toss-up and I have not tried any of these before, so they're all new to me.

I have 2 lots of tanning lotions to choose from so if you are familiar with any of them please let me know if they are worth the buy or if you werent all that impressed. Overall, if you see that one lot is better than the other please let me know which you feel is best!

Here are the choices:

OC Overnight Celebrity 4x bronzer -12 oz. bottle
and TWO 8.5 oz bottles of Swedish Beauty Hemp Cream

Supre Hempz Hot Ultra Dark Maximizer (has slight tingle) 9oz.
Austrailian Gold Dream ON 3x bronzer -13.5 oz.
Most Products Generation X (has slight tingle) 8 oz bottle.

Both are about the same price (the 2nd lot is only $5.00 more) and for me it's a toss up. I've tried the brands before but just not these products.

Any reviews???

The OC celebrity works pretty good. It really depends on weather you like lotions with tingle or not i love love love HOT lotions have you used any Designer Skin products? Those are my favorites. I really think the 2nd choice is your better pick though (only because i like tingle lotions). The tingling factor helps open up your pores and bring melanin to the surface.
Ps: hemp doesn't do much for your tan it just helps keep the skin from getting too dry.

Reapplying Sunscreen

When you get caught up in all of the fun and excitement of vacation, it is easy to lose track of time and to forget to reapply sunscreen. Keep in mind that sunscreen should be reapplied every two to three hours if you are swimming or if you are engaging in activities that cause you to sweat. If you will be playing sports, hiking, or swimming, make sure the sunscreen you use is sweatproof and waterproof as well.

Know the Sun

If one of your vacation goals is to get a great tan, make sure you understand the sun and when it is safest to enjoy a little sunbathing. Remember that the sun's rays are the strongest between 10:00 am and 4:00 pm, so you shouldn't spend a great deal of time in the sun during this time period. Also, be aware of where you are located because the sun's rays are stronger in higher elevations, such as when you are in the mountains. They are also stronger in lower latitudes as you get closer to the equator.

Of course, it can be difficult to keep track of time zones, latitudes, and elevations when you are on vacation. Therefore, a good rule of thumb is to take a look at your shadow. If it is shorter than you, you are at a greater risk for sunburn than if your shadow is longer than you are tall.

What is an amazing tanning lotion?

I have a bad pigment, and i'm pale. It takes me a long while to actually get a tan. So through out this week im going to be spending a lot of time laying out in the sun. I'd like to try a new tanning lotion also, so please give suggestions and reasons why i should get that tanning lotion. THANKS!

I dont know if its a 'lotion' but St Tropez is supposed to be quite good. I think it is quite expensive though.

Does sunblock lotion necessarily prevent you from getting a tan?

Or does it just protect you from harmful UV rays and cancer?
I put on lots of sunblock lotion when i'm out playing sports, but after, i see that i got a tan.

It slows down the effects of sun on your skin. The SPF factor is supposed to be an indicator of how long you can "safely" be outside without any effect. For example, SPF 15 is supposed to protect you so that you could be outside for 15 hours, and have a similar effect as if you had been outside for one hour, with no protection. I have found that the math doesn't quite work, really, but that's the theory.

Sunscreen doesn't BLOCK the harmful rays, or stop cancer, or keep you from getting a tan...it just slows down the process.
