Everyone that plays World of Warcraft has the misconception that the only way to get epic level items is to jump in a guild and raid raid raid. There is another way to get epic items without the pressure of raiding and it is overlooked by a great many players.

Battlegrounds and arena teams are another very easy way to get all purpled out. With a raiding guild there is always pressure to be online and raid sometimes every day. Player versus player is in my opinion an option that lets you play when you want to.

In Battlegrounds you earn honor points and marks regardless of whether you win or lose. Of course you get more if you win but you get them either way. These honor points and marks are used to purchase items from the player vs. player non-player characters that are as good as items that you will get from hours of raiding. In some cases the player vs. player items are arguably better than those that you can only get with a solid guild. Head over to the World of Warcraft website and look under player vs. player rewards section and see for yourself.

Currently there are four battlegrounds that you can enjoy, Alterac Valley, Arathi Basin, Eye of the Storm, and Warsong Gulch. In order to acquire your level 70 epic equipment you will have to participate in all of them to earn the required marks.

On most weekends starting on Thursday at midnight until Tuesday morning there will be "Battleground Holidays." Each battleground will have at least one holiday weekend per month. By playing on the holiday you will build honor and reputation much faster than normal. Take advantage of these holidays and get your honor and marks that much quicker.

What color eyeliner and eye shadow would look the best?

I have fair skin. My eyes are a blueish green color. What color eye shadow would look the best. I have tried using blue and it didn't look good. Also what color eyeliner should i use i have tried black and everyone said it didn't look good it was to dark. Any ideas would be great thank you.

as for eyeliners, try a plum color or a brown. they tend too look less harsh on blue eyes.
for eyeshadow stick to smoky grays and browns. those will make your eye color pop more instead of competing with it,

Eye shadow is perhaps the most beloved cosmetic of creative makeup artists. Some women prefer to apply eye shadow with a damp brush or applicator. This helps in intensifying the color. Powder eye shadows come in singles or color coordinated sets. Cream eye shadows can be coordinated with powder eye shadows. Eye shadows on your eyes should never be too obvious. A good one can be judged by having beautiful eyes without seeing the makeup on it. Needless to say, light colored eye shadows are preferred during daytime and smoky eyes are best to party with at night.

Put the eyeshadow on. A nice rounded shape on the eye takes only a few seconds. Beginning at your lash line moving just slightly past your crease you need to apply either a light shade of eyeshadow or highlighter completely across your eyelid. Also do it all the way up to your eyebrows. After that you should put a middle shade of eyeshadow upon your eyelid, also adding a bit under your bottom eyelashes - (not too chunky). Then put a bit on the outer edge of your eye, creating a slightly darker area there.

Begin by applying a light color from lash line to brows. Shades of ivory, beige, peach or pink are common, but other light tones can work well. Then apply a medium shade from lash line to crease. Finally, accent the crease of the eyelid with the darkest shade. Blend with a soft brush to avoid removing your eye shadow or smudging. You can apply eyeliner along the lash line and use mascara to accent your eye lashes if you like. Eye makeup remover or a damp cloth can remove smudges. Some people opt to do their eye shadow and other eye makeup before applying foundation and other makeup to allow mistakes to be tidied up more easily.

Applying Eye Shadow:

Apply the medium shade on the upper eyelid only. Use a lighter shade under the browbone to highlight the eyes.

Use an eye shadow brush and apply the lightest color from the crease up toward your eyebrow. Just apply a light coat across.

However you decide to apply your eye shadow, depending on the size of your eyelid, keep in mind that the lid and under-brow shades should meet but not overlap at the crease.

If you want dramatic eyes, take your eye shadow brush, dip it into water, and then into the shadow, then apply. It will give you a much deeper, dramatic color.

Apply a lighter eye shadow color above your primary color and below your eyebrow.

To make your eyes appear round, apply a soft brown to the lid up and just above the crease. Apply the same shade underneath your lower lashes.

MAC Lip Product Help??? 10pts!?

I am hopefully going to be making my first trip ever to a MAC store (I live in the middle of nowhere, haha) and I really want to invest in some good lip products. I have had the problem of even high-end brand lipsticks wearing off really quickly and lipglosses don't seem to last very long either (and are kinda goopy). I really love the look of MAC Slimshines, but I've read that those don't last very long, either!

Personally I don't think MAC's lip products are any more long-wearing than any other high-end brand. There is ALWAYS a trade-off for any brand's products between length of wear and moisturisation - drier, stickier products last the longest, moisturising products tend to "slip". So the longest lasting items are products that are quite matte/dry (such as Matte or Amplified Cream lipsticks) and of course Pro Longwear (which can be quite drying) whilst the most moisturising (eg. LipGelee, Slimshine) disappear fastest. My advice would be to invest in MAC's Lip Primer and also a couple of lip pencils - you'll find it really stretches out the wear without increasing the dryness factor.

If you have long eyelashed you dont need a colored mascara...try using clear just to add some volume to them..we are actually the same person...are we twins??? What I do is...I use purple..Its a very nice compliment to the green...and since we are on the paler side(cool toned), the purple also compliments our skin...I always use whatever color eyeshadow and eyeliner that match...so if I am wearing apurple shade...i use a purple eyeliner...anything brown or nude...I wear a brown eyeliner. etc...because of our eyes and skin...we can do versatilw styles and they will still look good on us!!!

What is the best non clumping mascara for blonde eye lashes?

I am blonde headed with long blonde eye lashes and i have tried just about every mascara out there! I have tried expensive name brands to drug store brands! Every one that i have tried either clumps, shows my blonde eye lashes, smuges, or just doenst look natural! I need a mascara thats covers up the blonde eye lashes but at the same time looks natural! HELP PLEASE!!!

Your eyes are one of your biggest assets. It is said that a person’s soul can be seen from their eyes and yours are no exception! Here are some quick and easy tips to help you make your eyes more seductive.

1. Start with concealer: this will get rid of dark circles and shadows under your eyes. Always pat never rub concealer into your skin.
2. Apply eye base: this will stop eye make up from getting caught in the creases of your eye. It will also help to keep your make up to look fresh for a long time.
3. Eye shadow: This is where the fun begins. To make your eyes look wonderful use a 3 tone effect like the pros.
   1. Initially use a light color from lid to brow bone
   2. Secondly use a slightly darker shade on your lid
   3. Use the darkest color in the crease of your lid.
   4. Blend them well.
4. Apply eyeliner: You can use a darker shade of eye shadow for a beautiful effect. Just wet a brush that is slanted and apply the eye shadow. Put it as close to your eye lash line as you can. For the bottom of your eyes only make the line from the middle to the outer edge, and then smudge it with your finger or a cotton bud.
5. Make your eyes stand out: with highlighter, create a v shaped design from top to bottom of the inner corner of your eye blend in. Use gold or pink for this as white will be too bold.
6. Highlight your brows: You can use the same shade of highlighter to use on your brow bone. Apply from the middle to the outside and blend.
