I enjoy a good tan and hot weather Does that mean I should support Global Warming?

If its even real i do not think it is.
Come on Karan Star you really think Global warming is going to do all that it just may be a good thing to have a short winter and who cares about polar bears anyway

Wait. You mean we aren't headed for an imminent catastrophic ice-age due to pollution?

Oh right. That was en vogue a few years ago. Brrr.

Let's put it this way. Many parts of the world will have improved climates if 'global warming' continues as it may before heading for the next ice age. The planet tends to do that.

As for pretending it would be a global apocalypse, come on. That's just silly.

Al Gore has been looking for a way to sell his agenda since long before 'global warming' was a notion. Actual scientists who deal with climate have said that his film was chock-full of crap. He reminds me of Paul Ehrlich who said, "the battle to feed all of humanity is over ... In the 1970s and 1980s hundreds of millions of people will starve to death in spite of any crash programs embarked upon now." or "Smog disasters" in 1973 might kill 200,000 people in New York and Los Angeles."

It's not just that people like Gore and Ehrlich are silly though. Their general notion is that humanity must be managed/controlled in order to prevent environmental problems. Ehrlich went so far as to argue for forced sterilization.

I know it buys them political points with some folks, but in the end it is ridiculous and reasonable people know it. Cars aren't heating up the planet. Mother Earth is a b*&ch and hybrid cars aren't going to stop global warming or the next ice age.

In the spirit of community, I would drive my SUV a little extra so you can get a tan, but I don't think it would really make much difference.
