Any tips for making makeup last longer? I feel like it comes off me so early in the day and I have to reapply!

I don't wear pounds of cakey makeup but I do wear fondation and such and i feel like it comes off my face so easily... so any tips, brands, or things I should try to havin more longerlasting makeup? thanks will pick an answer
