what would you recomend as a puppy care starter kit?

such as, the best -
shampoo conditioner is...what?
puppy food - chews for young teeth
dog toothpaste - does he need this?
health care products bob martins (do they still do them?)
flea powder/collar?
does he need worming?

anything you can add will help

1st-- thing you need to do is bring it to the vet for a clean bill of health--if your getting it from someone & the puppy's sick you have 3 days to bring it back---At this time you can get it's shots started---also the vet will tell you when to start w/ flea & heart worm preventatives
Is the puppy gonna be an inside or outside dog???
Here's a list of what you'll need to get started:
Puppy Shampoo
Puppy Food:Puppy Science Diet -etc...(just no table scrapes)
Food & Water Bowl
Puppy Chews
Couple of Dog Toys(nothing that has things that came be bitten off like
button eyes, etc....)
Bed & Blanket
Don't know what kind of puppy & where it's sleeping(If it's an inside dog
then you will need pee-pee pads---maybe a crate---
If outside -You'll need a pen or a fenced in area)
Leash & Harness(or Collar)
As for the toothpaste you really don't need it now cause puppy's lose their baby teeth. The other thing--every yr. get the dog's teeth cleaned by vet(this way you won't have to worry about toothpaste)---If you don't get them cleaned than you must clean them yourself
Don't know if you're getting a dog that will require grooming--if so than you'll need a groomer & if it's a small dog --about every 6-8 weeks its anal glands will need to be expressed.( ask vet about this)

One afternoon my neighbor's dog was out roaming the country side on his 5 acre property and within an hour he heard the most frightening yelping and crying noises comi available in case of emergencies.
