facial redness????

i have blotches of red spots on my face and i would show you guys the pic but idk how to put it on the internet, well i want to know if clean and clear or other products including masks will make the redness go away. Ive been using tretinoin gel cause my sister had it and she told me to use it but it makes my face really dry. And the redness on my face is still there and it helped VERY little. I dont wannna go to a dermatologists cause they can be real expensive. I just want to know the names of the products and or masks that'll cure the redness and make it go away permanatly!!!!!!! i really want it to be gone. ):

Stop washing your face because of redness, you have rosacea.
You can't cure it with OTC stuff, you have to get a prescription for this stuff that I can't remember what it's called.
