Bare Escentuals wearable eye kits.?

i'm a big fan of bare escentuals and their bareMinerals product, my brother just bought me this kit called the Wearable Eye Kit; meet the browns.

i was just wondering if any of you guys used it and what you thought about it. i'm just debating on whether to keep it or to exchange it for something else. thanks!

I just recently bought a few bareMinerals products, however, they did not come in an eye kit. I bought each glimmery eye shadow seperately. I purchased True Gold, Queen Phyllis, and Bare Skin and I love them all! They are easy to apply and the shimmery effect is gorgeous. It can get a tad messy and sometimes I have to wipe excess shadow from my cheeks, etc. But overall, I love this product and the bareMinerals line!

Tip 2

Choose the right brush for the coverage you are looking for. The Flawless Application brush will give a flawless finish that is light to medium. The Kabuki brush will give a medium to full coverage based on the brush head being more firm and fuller in hair. The Maximum Coverage Concealer brush will allow for fab coverage in areas you need to conceal- imperfections, dark circles, fine lines and wrinkles, hyper-pigmentation, acne scars. You can use this brush to pre or post conceal on areas that you want more complete coverage.

Tip 3

Be sure to swirl-tap-buff. This is the exact instruction: Swirl- is to get the right amount of bareMinerals tucked into the brush, using the lid and a little amount of bareMinerals product. Tap- is because less is more, tapping off the excess will ensure you don't over apply. Buff- directly onto the skin to get the coverage you desire. Buff, buff, buff away the look of large pores, the fine lines and wrinkles. The end result is a smooth and  flawless skin.

Tip 4

BareMinerals work for everyone, no matter what skin type you have. If you are dry, you will need a good moisturizer, but let your cream or moisturizer have plenty of absorption time so that bareMinerals are buffed onto the skin's surface, not buffed into your moisturizer. If you have oily skin, try using bareVitamins as your skin prep, then buffing on your bareMinerals foundation.

Tip 5

Be sure you don't over apply, using bareMinerals makeup is different and there is a learning curve. But once you get the hang of it, you'll be a pro.
