Any fragrances smell like Estee Lauder Spellbound for cheaper?

My mom just insists on getting Estee Lauder Spellbound perfume for Christmas each year. She wants the 3.4 oz size. If you can find it on sale (rare) then you spend like $65 but it usually ends up being every bit of $80 with tax. This year it's what she wants again, but here's my thing: I'm pregnant with baby #2, my husband and I are both in college full time and we just don't have the money to buy people expensive gifts.
I've asked her, for my present, for Lacoste for women, which is about $35 for the 3.4 oz... I told her the price of mine, hoping she'd choose to ask for something less expensive... but she still wants it. Quite a price difference. Anyway, are there any other brands out there that resemble Estee Lauder Spellbound but for the Lacoste price??? If not, she's just getting a $35 Dillard's giftcard and she can pay for the other part.

It is so funny that you say that, my mother for years has always worn Spellbound! I went to Dillards and started smelling perfumes. I came across Vera Wang( the newest one) then you have Armani Code that one also has a strong smell like Spellbound. You have to admit there is nothing like spell bound but there are others that is close. Those 2 are the cheapest ones i could come across.

Buying something ineffective can be a costly mistake, since anti-aging creams are often very expensive.  But, buying something that causes adverse reactions can cost even more.

The company uses too many hazardous compounds, known allergens and skin irritants.  The reports of adverse reactions are as numerous as those that report effective results.  In cases where effective results are reported, it has little to do with decreased depth of wrinkles or improved elasticity.  But isn’t that why you buy wrinkle cream, in the first place? 

A careful evaluation of the ingredients reveals that there are few active components other than moisturizers.  Moisturizers are a necessary component of any skin-care ritual, but that’s not all you need to counter the signs of aging.

Health Problems - Hazardous Ingredients

Whether you are looking at the lowest or the highest rated wrinkle cream, there are compounds included that can be hazardous to your health.  The major cosmetic companies continue to use ingredients that increase our risk of cancer.  Sunscreens are among those cancer-causing ingredients.

Do not buy wrinkle cream that contains oxybenzone or benzophenone.  They are known to cause damage to the cells and DNA strands that can lead to cancer.  This kind of damage also plays a major role in the production of wrinkles and lost elasticity.  I’m talking about free radical damage.

Better Choice: Safe & Effective Ingredients

Instead of looking for the highest rated wrinkle cream, look for one that contains antioxidants.  Antioxidants prevent and repair free radical damage.
 
Scientists have seen that aging skin cells produce more free radicals, yet there is no abundance of antioxidants to “deactivate” them.  Good nutrition plays a major role in your overall health and beauty.  People who eat more antioxidant-rich foods live longer and look younger.

Did you see that picture of the world’s oldest man, recently?  His diet consisted primarily of vegetables and fish.  Vegetables are rich in antioxidants.  Fish are a good source of omega-3 fatty acids.  Wouldn’t it be nice if we could apply those things directly to our faces, to protect the outside of our body from the affects of age?

Actually, we can buy wrinkle cream that contains nourishment for our faces.  See box below. There are new creams on the market that contain antioxidants, essential fatty acids, amino acids, protein complexes, vitamins, minerals, enzymes and all of the other things that the epidermis needs to stay young and healthy looking.

The extracts are taken primarily from plants or vegetables like wakame kelp.  No synthetic chemicals are added and they contain nothing that contributes to free radical damage or adverse reactions.

I am sure that soon the only wrinkle cream I use will be the highest rated wrinkle cream in the world.  It is simply that good.
